Returns: Numeric An SQL return code. The following values may be returned: SQL_SUCCESS (the modified SQL string was retrieved). SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO (the modified SQL string was retrieved, but a message was issued). SQL_ERROR (an error occurred). SQL_INVALID_HANDLE (the handle is invalid).

Returns the SQL string as modified by the driver. This function does not execute the SQL statement.

Input arguments:

• ConnectionHandle.
• InStatementText. The SQL text string to be translated.
• TextLength1. The maximum length of InStatementText.
• BufferLength. The maximum length of OutStatementText.

Output arguments:

• OutStatementText. The translated SQL string.
• TextLength2. The returned length of OutStatementText.
