Installation Instructions

Installing Eclipse

1. Download a version of Eclipse for your platform.
   Download site: www.eclipse.org
   Recommended version: 3.0M4
   Note: The platform runtime library will suffice, but you may choose to install the complete SDK.
2. Unzip the Eclipse zip file into the directory where you would like Eclipse to be installed.

Installing Java

1. Download a version of Java for your platform.
   Download site: http://java.sun.com/j2se/downloads.html
   Recommended version: 1.4.1 (or higher)
2. Follow directions provided for installing Java

Installing OmniMark plugin for Eclipse

1. Run the installer that is provided.

Linking to your OmniMark libraries

1. The path to the OmniMark include and module files, as well as the path to the OmniMark external function libraries must be set from within Eclipse. This is accomplished from the 'Paths' tab of the 'OmniMark' preferences dialog which is accessible via the 'Preferences' menu entry of the 'Window' menu.

Uninstall Instructions

Uninstalling Eclipse

1. Simply delete the entire Eclipse installation directory.

Uninstalling OmniMark plugin for Eclipse

1. Run the installer that is provided to uninstall the software.
