| Updating your license manager | |||||

If you are running OmniMark version V3R1 or later, your license manager must be FLEXlm version 5.12a or later. This is the version of FLEXlm that is bundled with OmniMark version 4.0, and should be installed in place of the older version.
To determine the version of your existing FLEXlm software, type:
lmutil lmver lmgrd.exe
lmutil lmver lmgrd
lmutil lmver omnimarkd.exe
If you have just upgraded your OmniMark software, and the FLEXlm version is version 5.12a, you must ensure that the license file (license.dat) has updated authorization codes to run OmniMark 4.0. You may obtain authorization codes from the OmniMark Technologies Authorization System
. If you do not have an OmniMark maintenance package, contact OmniMark Technologies Sales ([email protected]).
You also must make sure that you have the latest version of omnilm_setup. The "omnilm_setup" file is available from the OmniMark Technologies software download page
.
To update your license manager, you will need to do the following:
omnilm_setup program appropriate to the platform you have FLEXlm installed on.
omnilm_setup program.
lmutil lmreread, which will shut down and restart your license manager.
lmutil lmdown, and then manually restart your license manager in the usual way, as determined by the platform you are running FLEXlm on.
