Syntax
matches unanchored pattern or match unanchored pattern
You can use the unanchored pattern modifier to indicate that a pattern is to be matched anywhere in the scanned source, rather than only at the beginning of the scanned source:
  do scan "Mary had a little lamb"
     match unanchored "little"
  done
unanchored can only be use in a match alternative or matches test. It is not supported in find, take, or drop patterns.
The use of unanchored is deprecated in favor of the pattern any**, which works in all pattern expressions:
  process 
     submit "Mary had a little lamb"
  
  find any** "little"
