Argument definitions

statement

is the compiled dbStatement object.

Use dbStatementDiscard to explicitly discard a dbStatement object and release any resources that it used.

Requirements

You must include the following line at the beginning of your OmniMark program:

  include "omdb.xin"

Usage Notes

Discarding a statement that is

• not compiled, or
• previously discarded

A statement is automatically discarded when the OMX variable leaves its scope.
