Return type: opaque Returns: The hyperbolic tangent of the floating point number.

Declaration

     tanh value float x

Use tanh to calculate, in radians, the hyperbolic tangent of a floating point number. This trigonometric function works the same way as its equivalent in the C math library.

Out-of-range values return "not a number" (NaN).

Example:
