Return type: opaque Returns: The arc cosine of the floating point value.

Declaration

export external float function
     acos value float x

A trigonometric function that calculates, in radians, the arc cosine (inverse cosine) of a floating point number. This function works the same way as its equivalent in the C math library.

Out-of-range values, (|x| > 1), return "not a number" (NaN).

Example:
